Privacy policy

This privacy statement describes how Otto Olsen AS collects and uses your personal information.

Contact us at post@oo.no if something is unclear, or you are wondering what information we have about you.

Personal information is all types of information that can be related to an identifiable person, such as name, e-mail address, IP address, telephone number, etc.

Otto Olsen AS, through its CEO, is responsible for processing the company's handling of personal data.

The purpose of processing personal data

Our purpose in collecting personal information is to treat you as a customer, partner, or stakeholder. We need this information to complete purchases and sales, keep in touch, identify your needs, and to be able to set up meetings and any offers.

If you have agreed to a newsletter, your e-mail will be used to send out newsletters in addition to a possible customer relationship. We use the dispatch service from Super Office for sending out newsletters, invitations, promotions and important messages. Here we can see if you have opened the email and clicked on links. This is useful for finding out what content is interesting for our connections.

We will not use personal information for purposes other than what was originally intended.

How we collect personal information

We collect information such as name, telephone number and e-mail through our correspondence with you. It can be at trade fairs, business cards, in customer meetings, contact forms and when signing up for newsletters. This is information you voluntarily give us, and not something we collect without your interest.

The information from you can be registered in our email post@oo.no, in our ERP system, and our CRM system. Information from subscription to newsletters is registered in Super Office.

Cookies and automatic storage of information

Cookies are small text files that are downloaded and stored on your computer when you open a website. The vast majority of websites use such cookies. Otto Olsen AS uses cookies to improve your user experience and to collect statistics. The use of cookies does not pose a security risk to you. You may refrain from consenting to the storage of cookies, but this may result in the services on the website not working optimally. None of the information we receive via cookies is used to identify individuals.

Who has access to the data

Only we in Otto Olsen AS have access to the personal information. We never share the information with third parties.

How long do we store data

If you have a customer relationship with us, we store your personal information for as long as the customer relationship lasts. After the end of the customer relationship, we only keep the necessary information for accounting. If we see that we may have a genuine interest in cooperating at a later opportunity, we will retain your information even after the customer relationship has ended.

When subscribing to newsletters, the e-mail address is stored in the Super Office service. You can go in and change your preferences at any time or sign up for the newsletter via a link in the email. Get in touch if you want to unsubscribe, but do not get it yourself. Then your email will be deleted from the system, and we can no longer link individual events such as opening an email and clicking on the link to you as a person.

Your right to access, correct and delete

You have the right to access the information we have stored about you, what it is used for, who has access to it, how long it is stored and where the data is taken from. You have the right to request a change in your information.

You also have the right to demand the deletion of personal data that you believe is unnecessary. You also have the right to withdraw your consent if a consent was the starting point for our storage of the data.

Feel free to contact us for access, correction or deletion, or if there is anything else you are wondering about.
