Otto Olsen is looking for a sustainability and quality coordinator
We are looking for a motivated and structured coordinator to assist our Quality, HSE and HR manager with tasks and responsibilities within sustainability, quality, and health, environment and safety.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to contribute to the development and implementation of good practices within these important areas. We encourage women with the right skills to apply for this position.
Responsibilities and tasks:
As our new coordinator, you will have a key role in supporting and further developing our processes within sustainability, quality and HSE. You will work closely with our Quality, HSE and HR manager and be responsible for, among other things
- Coordinate and follow up the implementation of sustainability strategies and measures.
- Contribute to the development, maintenance and improvement of sustainability, quality and HSE systems.
- Participate in risk assessments and develop routines and procedures.
- Prepare reports and analyze data within sustainability, quality and HSE.
- Coordinating internal and external audits.
- Perform administrative tasks related to quality, HSE and sustainability work.
Relevant education
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in one or more relevant subject areas, such as:
- Sustainability / Environmental management
- Quality management
- HSE / Working environment
- Organizational psychology / HR
Desired experience
- New graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Experience with projects or practices within quality, sustainability or HSE is an advantage.
Skills and Traits:
- Good understanding of sustainability and environmental work in a business context.
- Knowledge of relevant standards (such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001 or ISO 45001) is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work structured.
- Good oral and written presentation skills in Norwegian and English.
- Good collaboration skills and relationship-building skills.
- Proactive, self-motivated and motivated to learn.
- Innovative and solution-oriented. You like to take initiative and create results.

Otto Olsen is looking for a foreman for our pipe workshop
Responsibilities and tasks:
- Prioritize tasks for other employees at the workshop
- Prepare necessary products for production
- Participate in production work
- Control tasks of finished products / systems
- Finish / package products / systems so that they are ready for delivery
- Order the necessary transport
- Control / calibration of measuring equipment
- Order and tidiness in the workshop
- HSE tasks
- Participate in production planning meetings with the project department
- Collaborate with Operations Coordinator in/outbound logistics
Our goal is to become the leading supplier in piping and prefabrication in the Nordics. To achieve this goal, we are looking for a work foreman who can play an active role in a busy work environment. We encourage qualified women to apply for the position.
Education:
We imagine that you have education as an industrial plumber, welder, in steel construction work, plant mechanic or similar, but long experience can compensate for education.
Relevant experience:
- Technical / mechanical background
- Operational management
- Good computer skills
- Speak and write Norwegian well

- The ability to have a good overview of tasks to be carried out at the workshop
- Good collaboration skills
- Good at leading and motivating others
- Structured and accurate

Otto Olsen carries out laser measurements and PMI testing and more in his own house. We have CNC-controlled bending machines, a separate measuring chamber for verification, copying and post-checking of smaller pipes.
In order to reduce our climate footprint, we are currently finalizing the construction of a separate building for pressure testing, preservation and flushing of pipes and hydraulic hoses. By being able to offer this in our own premises, we reduce time consumption and transport, which benefits customers and the climate.
